SV-One Spring 2026

SV1 is our kindergarten and first grade ensemble and uses Musikgarten’s curriculum Music Makers: At Home in the World.
Rehearses Tuesdays, 4:15-5:15
Taught by certified Musikgarten teacher, Kate DeAlmeida, this ensemble uses the Musikgarten curriculum infused with traditional Sisters' Voices songs. The experiences that the children will have in this class are vital as they strive to find joy in music, learn to improvise, and read music. We will emphasize playing instruments and singing together in an ensemble. Children at this age are able to gradually appreciate the beauty of the sound they make together. The group’s step-by-step preparation requires the development of a high level of listening skill, precise coordination of movement, and a sense of belonging in the group.
